Featured Speaker: Skip Lackey, North America’s Senior Accredited Practitioner and Facilitator for The Journey.™ He is also a Certified NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) Practitioner, has a private Journey practice, and an extensive background in many other alternative healing modalities. He will speak on: “Cellular Healing and the Journey” Skip Lackey will tell the story of his dear friend, Journey founder Brandon Bays, and how her experience of spontaneously healing a basketball-size tumor catapulted her to a remarkable, soul-searching, and ultimately freeing healing journey. She discovered a way to gain direct access to the soul and the boundless healing potential inside all of us. This, in turn, led to the creation of The Journey processes. Next, Skip will describe what happens in the body when emotions are not allowed a full and healthy expression – and what to do about it. Recent discoveries, made by Dr. Candace Pert and cell biologist Bruce Lipton, clarify how our “unfinished business” (trauma, unacceptable feelings, old pain, etc.) is stored as phantom cell memories in our bodies and in our DNA. In addition, Skip will discuss the HeartMath Institute’s experiments on how DNA responds to emotion – whether inside the body or even in cells removed from the body and taken thousands of miles away! He will demonstrate how these discoveries provide the scientific foundation for The Journey, a deceptively simple method of accessing and finally resolving the long-standing emotional and physical issues that plague us. Fairly new to the United States, The Journey has become the most widely used cellular healing process in northern Europe, the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. In addition, it has been introduced into the curriculum in over 250 schools in South Africa, with plans eventually to expand countrywide. Under Skip’s guidance, The Journey has been expanding rapidly in North America during the past three years. The primary method of spreading The Journey is through “Journey Intensive Weekends,” at which participants learn through experience the power of these processes. Intensives are held three times a year in Longmont, Colorado. The next Journey Intensive Weekend is May 6-7, 2006. For more information, see the Journey web site at www.thejourney.com or call 1-866-860-0900. For a local contact, call Pat Kendall at 970-482-2974. Books and CDs will be available at the meeting.
