Event time is 7-8:30pm. We have access to the building at 5:30pm for setup purposes. There will be announcements at the
beginning of the talk about upcoming events, so your presentation will be about 1 1/2 hours long. We
pay our speakers $100 dollars to speak, and the talks are free to the public.
We collect a donation to defray the cost of these fees and support other SPRE
expenses. You could hold a 1/2 day, whole day or
weekend workshop on the day following following your talk (Saturday), treating
the Friday night talk as an introduction. So
many people have said, "I wish I could hear more than just a 1 1/2 hour talk." that
we are encourage people to set up workshops afterwards but it is not
necessary. The
charge for the workshop would be up to you. We would help set up the location
etc. For this we ask that a donation be made to SPRE for our efforts. If
you have any published books you could do a book signing after either event.
There will be tables in the back for your books / literature and sign up sheets,
etc.
Within 2 weeks after committing to a date, we need information
about a speaker with a color digital picture so
we can update our website and put together a brochure. We
are asking for about 400 words, which includes a bio and information about the
talk. When completed please email that to Lea Schwartz at pointpr@qwest.net
In the interim we will put links to your website for readers to find out
information about you. If
you would like help with putting a summary of your talk together or putting
